Super Bowl Ride

One of the things I’ve always enjoyed about travel is the chance to try out new cars.  A car rental fundamentally provides the opportunity to try a car you’d never buy yourself.  Well, when we arrived at Love Field in Dallas a few days ago, the delay in getting into the airport meant that our car rental agency (Enterprise) would be closed, as would be ALMOST every other agency–except Avis.

Lucky to find anything available, we were pleasantly greeted and treated by the Avis guy.  Then we walked out to our car.  While our experience with the Grand Marquis has had us talking about Clint Eastwood and his Gran Torino more than we normally do, we’re also a little afraid of getting pulled over.
